All My Children . . . Welcome to Pine Valley

I'm in the process of updating the soap opera pages, but . . .
I must be honest . . . it has been years since I have watched the
soaps. My once beloved soaps became an insult to my intelligence
with the same storylines over and over again and the way the actors
were dropped and characters I loved through the years became a
backdrop for the revolving door of new characters who were gone
before we got a chance to care. No wonder they are getting cancelled
at an alarming rate.

Having said that . . . it made me sad when I heard that AMC and OLTL
were being cancelled. Through the years, many of my soaps went away,
but my favorites were always there . . . until now. The soaps have
been a part of my life since I a little girl watching them my nana.

I still kept up with the storylines through the internet and will
continue to keep up with my favorite stars. I've got some ideas on
expanding the scope of this page to take a look back and pay tribute
to all those stars and storylines we have loved through the years.

All My Children
The Official ABC Website . . . there is no link,
the network has thrown away the soap like trash,
along with the stars who gave life to the history
of the show. At least they could have given AMC
a place in the history of the network in the form
of a tribute page. We have truly become a throw
away society. Shame on you ABC!
